Where: State Parks in Miami include Oleta River State Park, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, and The Barnacle Historic State Park.
Why: Enjoy the outdoors and blistering heat.
Last time admission to a state park was free, we headed to Oleta River and enjoyed kayaking. It was a great way to exercise and experience the outdoors. Rental is $25.00 for an hour and a half tandum kayak, or $18.00 for single. For more rates click here.
