Out with the old, in with the new

The station that brought you Christmas carols all day, every day since mid November through December is no longer in existence. Love 94 went off the air earlier this week. Some of you may remember the station for playing smooth jazz such as Kenny G, John Mayer, Norah Jones, etc. The station is now replaced with pop station 93.9 FM-MIA that plays upbeat music from era's of the 70's, 80's, 90's and today. The station has decided to play commercial-free music for its launch.

This week I've tuned in to the station a couple of times and enjoy it very much. Thus far, they've played a broad selection of music from Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Diana Ross, Human Leage, Chris Brown, Rhianna, Will Smith, Ace of Base, Gloria Estefan, Outkast, well you get the gist of it. Basically the new station is a better version of 97.3, without Delilah's annoying voice and the self help talks. And if you aren't into the pop dance music, then this is not the station for you. But I'd still recommend checking it out; it'll take you back in time with some of the songs being played.

Enjoy!
